Kent is a city of about 130,000 residents, strategically located between Seattle and Tacoma along Interstate 5. Downtown Seattle is about 20 miles north of the city, and Tacoma is about 20 miles south.
Its location offers easy access to SeaTac International Airport and the rugged natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. The Cascade Mountains lie just east of the city. The city also maintains more than 70 parks and green spaces, including the popular Green River Trail system that adds miles of walking and biking paths.
