About Us

Lincoln Moving & Storage was founded in 1914, establishing itself as a trusted name in the moving industry. Our company’s rich history spans over a century, serving countless families and businesses across generations.

In 1944, the DiJulio family purchased Lincoln Moving & Storage, beginning a multi-generational family ownership. Under their stewardship, Lincoln became a United Van Lines agent in 1947, expanding our reach and capabilities.

Chris DiJulio’s personal journey with Lincoln began on June 6th, 1967, when, at sixteen years old, he started working for the family business owned by his father and uncles. Chris worked his way up from sweeping warehouse floors to driving tractor-trailers, gaining hands-on experience in every aspect of the moving industry.

In 1974, the DiJulio family sold Lincoln to Loomis Armored Car, but Chris continued with the company, eventually becoming a branch manager. A pivotal moment came in 1987 when Chris bought back the family business for $619,000 when Lincoln’s annual revenue was $3.2 million at the time.

Under Chris’s leadership, we expanded the Lincoln Family of Companies through strategic acquisitions. Notable additions include APACA Moving & Storage in 1998, Apaca Van Lines in 2003, and Lompoc Van & Storage, Vandenberg Van & Storage, and Star Moving & Storage in 2015.

Throughout our history, we’ve adapted to industry changes, partnering with various van lines before ultimately operating independently. Today, with over a century of experience and multiple locations across several states, Lincoln Moving & Storage continues to build on its rich heritage.

Our commitment to family values and quality service remains strong with third-generation leadership. Danny DiJulio, Chris’s son, now serves as Vice President. He brings 27 years of experience to his role and continues the family tradition of hands-on, dedicated leadership.

Our history is not just about business growth; it’s about maintaining a family-oriented approach to our work. This philosophy, combined with our long-standing commitment to quality service, has been the cornerstone of our success for over
